The latest addition to the facility is the ‘Interserve Mariner’, a spud-legged, jack-up barge capable of carrying a deck load of up to 80 tonnes. It has a 50 tonne Sumitomo crawler crane mounted on its deck and can operate in water depths of up to 18.5m.

Our projects include:

Thames Water gateway treatment plant, Beckton This is the first plant in London to extract water from the tidal Thames and process it using the latest desalination technology to produce drinking water. The new plant has the capacity to supply up to 140 million litres of water every day – enough for 400,000 households.
Brighton Palace Pier Extension The pier extension was constructed in tidal conditions using marine plant. The project required the installation of over 1,000 tonnes of steelwork, the majority of which was fabricated in our Belvedere facility, supported on 92 610mm-diameter piles and timber decking - designed to increase the floor area of the existing pier head by approximately 6,200 square metres.
Stamford Bridge flood alleviation We carried out works to alleviate flooding from the River Derwent at Stamford Bridge in East Yorkshire. This included piling, retaining wall, embankments, floodgates and landscaping throughout, working in an environmentally sensitive environment.
Wisbech flood alleviation We are engaged in a major project, taking place in several phases, to alleviate flooding on the River Nene and protect around 10,500 homes and 1,200 businesses in and around Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
