Consult
Ever-changing demand requires constant adaption in airport configuration. Interserve uses its knowledge of passenger, airline and authorities' requirements to provide budgeted, risk-balanced proposals to inform customer business cases for capital expenditure. Approved schemes are then delivered using effective project-, cost-, risk- and value-management techniques.
These techniques can equally be applied to refurbishment schemes giving office areas, concourses, lounges and retail areas a fresh look.
Design
We are able to offer a range of creative and innovative design services through our skills in value management, value engineering and whole life costing.
Our technical experts and engineers, supported by the latest in 3D CAD software, create solutions to the most complex construction challenges and deliver tangible benefits to customers through faster, more cost-effective programmes. Examples include specialist shoring design to cope with curved structures in challenging ground conditions, and designing modular solutions which decreased cycle times through reduced re-assembly work.
Build
Our construction expertise in aviation has developed over many decades through delivering building and infrastructure projects for commercial clients and from our work for the Ministry of Defence, both in the UK and overseas.
Our appreciation of the challenges and constraints of working airside in a live airport environment has been gained through executing projects large and small in an array of demanding locations. These include substantial projects such as the BAA/Virgin Atlantic maintenance hangar at Heathrow and a range of terminal facilities at both Doha International, Qatar and Dubai airport. We have also delivered hangars for commercial airlines and specialist training facilities
At RAF bases our track record comprises hangars, technical centres, mess facilities, headquarters buildings, workshops, sports facilities, parachute training schools and medical facilities, together with refurbishments, maintenance and infrastructure contracts that include major air service platforms and runway resurfacing schemes.
