The A1 Eaton Socon Bypass stretches between the A428 Wyboston Junction and Hail Bridge, near St Neots.
A1 Peterborough to Blyth
The A1 Trunk Road is a north-south regional route of strategic importance connecting the two sections of the A1(M) at Peterborough in the south and Blyth in the north. Most of this length is of a satisfactory standard but there are localised problems at six roundabouts.
A21 Stocks Green
As Principal Contractor to the Highways Agency for the East & South East Asset Management framework contract, Interserve has introduced a new ground stabilisation process called Electrokinetic Geosynthetics (EKG) along the A21 at Stocks Green, Kent. This is the first time the technique has been used on a highways contract.
A30 Merrymeet junction improvements
The works involved design and construction of a new bridge to form grade separation over the existing A30 in Devon with associated earthworks, carriageway construction and slip roads, lighting, signing and traffic management.
A38 Dobwalls Bypass, Cornwall
Interserve was awarded the project for the design development of the A38 Dobwalls Bypass scheme, followed by detailed design and construction of the 4km dual carriageway bypassing Dobwalls village, with earthworks of 1 million cubic metres balanced in cut and fill, associated structures and drainage, lighting, signing and traffic management.
A5 / M69 signalisation and A5 Stretton Bends
Interserve's involvement in the A5 / M69 signalisation scheme comprised widening the approach roads and exit slip roads from the M69, the construction of retaining walls, widening the circulatory carriageway, surfacing and signalising the junction.
A5 Weeford to Fazeley improvements
The A5 Weeford - Fazeley scheme involved the design and construction of 5km of new two-lane dual carriageway between the A5/A38 Junction at Weeford Island and Weeford.
A66 Long Newton grade separated junction
A Highways Agency scheme on Teesside, improving safety on the A66 dual carriageway between Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington and the village of Long Newton, was officially opened by Transport Minister, Tom Harris, in June 2008.
