Education Framework - Alcester Grammar School

In 2004, Interserve was awarded the five-year Local Authority Framework for the delivery of the Warwickshire County Council schools programme.

This programme featured several projects totalling approximately £10m in value to date.

Projects included the design and construction of a new sports hall and sixth form building at Alcester Grammar School and construction of new sports halls at Myton School in Warwick and Alderman Smith School in Nuneaton. Also part of the programme was the amalgamation of two schools, St. Nicholas and St. Faiths, onto one site. This was completed in April 2006.

Further projects include School extensions and refurbishments and the DDA programme for the County.

Achievements

  • In their most recent OFSTED inspection, the school was described overall as "Outstanding", the highest grade a school can currently achieve on an inspection
  • The school sets out to provide a relaxed and constructive atmosphere, in which pupils are encouraged to develop their individual talents
