The ProCure21 Peaks Lane development is a 26-bed mental health unit providing open ward accommodation for male and female adult service users. The accommodation is provided across three residential lodges with offices, reception, café and sports facilities located in the separate Harrison House.

Designed to reflect the Trust's model of care, the units support the idea of service users being in control of their own environment, promoting independence. Following a normal, day-to-day routine is encouraged as far as possible.

The scheme design focussed on attention to detail, avoiding a clinical feel to ensure a calming and comforting residential environment. Great effort went into the choice of interior fixtures and fittings to provide a modern feel to the design, encompassing safety and ligature issues without being institutional.

All ancillary services are provided through the Tukes scheme, which provides training and employment for former service users as part of integration back into the community.
