Interserve’s 90-week programme, awarded by Thornfield Properties Plc, involved extensive demolition and asbestos removal works and significant ground remediation. The existing major services had to be diverted and a substantial remodelling exercise of the main arterial roundabout in Chesterfield was carried out.

Sustainable design and build

Additionally, Interserve provided the design and build of a commercial office development and a Stretch B&Q superstore – a total of 10,000 sq m of principle sales floor. The external works include extensive remodelling and the creation of an urban park, with woodland walks and a skate board park. Interserve also built 650 external parking bays.
